    Two Recent Success Stories....

Old Soldier Jack Stolen then found - thanks to the Missing Pets Bureau...
Jack, a frail 16
year old Bichon Frise dog who is balding, has failing eyesight, arthritis and
various lumps, bumps scars and growths about this elderly frame was
stolen along with a company truck in Lewes. Owned by Mr and Mrs Bryant
from Hove, Jack has been an important part of his masters painting and
decorating company for years, accompanying Mr Bryant about his daily
business. “I only stopped the van for a few minutes to make a delivery
and on my return both the van and Jack had gone”

The heartless thieves obviously thought there was little value in keeping Jack who was
then dumped 40 miles away on a green near Tunbridge Wells. He was found dishevelled
and confused by a local resident who thankfully took him to Summerfield Lodge Vets in Tunbridge Wells.

“We were frantic with worry” said Mrs Bryant, “We did not care about the van but were desperate for Jack’s safe
return. Fortunately we had registered Jack with the Missing Pets Bureau who work with over 10,000 organisations
throughout the UK, returning lost or stolen pets to their owners. The Missing Pets Bureau sent 50 letters with Jack's
details and Summerfield Lodge Vets made contact with the Missing Pets Bureau who had been in touch the Kit Wilson
Trust in Hadlow. "If it had not been for the prompt action of all parties - Jack would not have survived out
in the cold and wet overnight, he's just too old”
.

Jack has spent 4 days recovering from his ordeal being cared for by the vets and the Missing Pets Bureau reunited
Jack with his owners. “... he means the world to us - we are so thankful to have him home
– we will never let him out of our sight again"
.

Mrs Carol Beswick asked us to send out 100 letters after losing Solomon.
She said. "I was sick with worry and we had put posters up everywhere. I was so
pleased that we took advantage of your notification service. The vet you contacted
recognised Solomon from the photograph and thanks to you we have him back

I have now registered for
Petback Protect and I am so grateful for what you have done."
